About Me

I am a master's student majoring in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Northeastern University, set to graduate in May 2025.
My passion for Robotics led me to pursue higher studies in this field. I have worked on various projects related to Robotics and Automation, some of which are highlighted on this website. Take a look and get to know me better!
My primary areas of interest lie in Robotics with ROS/ ROS 2, Reinforcement Learning, and computer vision, which have been the focus of most of my academic projects.

EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE

Jan 2025 - Apr 2025

Summit Global Consulting

Research Intern

Boston, MA

As a Research Intern, I explored cost optimization strategies across AWS, GCP, and Azure, focusing on pricing models and partner cost structures. I analyzed cloud reselling frameworks, identified discount mechanisms, and evaluated the ROI of partner investments such as certifications, training, and co-marketing. My work involved forecasting operational expenses—including DevOps automation, security, and compliance—enabling more accurate budgeting. I presented actionable financial insights to leadership, helping shape strategic decisions for cloud service resellers.

Nov 2020 - Aug 2023

Design Engineer

Pune, Maharashtra, India

Air Products India Pvt. Ltd.

Working as a design engineer, I reduced design iteration time by 25% by using modularized equipment piping designs and parametric modeling techniques in SmartPlant 3D, which helped my team complete over eight complex projects ahead of schedule. I also designed modular plant layouts in MicroStation to shorten fabrication timelines. On top of that, I streamlined clash detection and prevention workflows by reviewing GA drawings and creating automated clash reports, resolving over 40 structural conflicts and preventing $320K in potential rework costs while keeping our clients happy.

Aug 2016 - Oct 2020

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Pune, Maharashtra, India

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology

During my undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at VIT Pune, I was introduced to the field of robotics through a technical robotics club on campus. Being part of the club and working on hands-on projects like building quadruped and line tracer robots sparked my interest and inspired me to pursue higher studies in robotics and automation.

EXPERTISE

EXPERTISE

Robotics Software Development

I have developed and simulated autonomous robotic systems using ROS/ROS2, Gazebo, and URDF/Xacro. I have built modular, real-time navigation stacks integrating sensors, motion planning, and control.

Perception & Computer Vision

I have worked on visual perception tasks such as 2D object detection, 3D point cloud registration, and image retrieval using OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow to extract actionable insights from visual data.

Planning, Control & Reinforcement Learning

I have implemented path planning algorithms like A* and PRM, and designed model predictive controllers for autonomous navigation. I have also trained safe reinforcement learning agents using CPO for reliable, collision-free operation.
